Imran Khan clarifies his stance on Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal.cms

Vir Das‘ is his directorial debut. In an interview he gave a few days ago, Imran said that there is a glamor and fetishization in cinema today.
In an interview with Film Companion, the actor said: “I have an idea where cinema is these days. It bothers me that violence is glorified, fetishized and sexualised. There is one way to portray violence. Actually, Imran has not watched ‘Animal’ yet. He admitted that he hasn’t watched too many Hindi films in the last few years because of a conscious detachment from the film business. The actor said that he was not qualified to talk about ‘Animal’ because he had not watched the movie yet.
Imran was last seen in the 2008 movie ‘Katti Batti‘.
