NASA warns of 368-meter asteroid hurtling towards Earth | – vopbuzz

NASA It sounded the alarm about a significant asteroid hurtling toward Earth, dubbed “2015 KJ19.” This massive space rock measures 368 feet (112 meters) and is racing through space at an astounding speed of 83,175 kilometers per hour. Its closest approach is scheduled to occur on May 14, 2024 at 02:43 UTC (08:13 AM IST for those in India) and will pass within approximately 6 million kilometers of our planet. Although it may seem very wide for human perception, on a large space scale this distance is only a hair’s breadth.

Estimated to be the size of a building, this structure captures the imagination of sky watchers around the world.
